About MindMyBelief
Scripture for every faith,
gently explained.
MindMyBelief — Daily Scripture: All Faiths — is one quiet, welcoming home where you can read your own scripture deeply and understand your neighbour's charitably. Different doors, shared light.
Why MindMyBelief exists
The world's sacred texts are usually kept apart — each in its own app, its own shelf, its own silence. We wanted the opposite: a single, respectful place where anyone can sit down and read. Read the Psalm that steadied a grandmother. Read the surah recited five times a day across a continent. Read the verse of the Gita that a friend keeps returning to, and finally understand why.
We believe that in a divided world, shared reading builds understanding. You do not have to agree with a tradition to read it with care, and reading it with care is often the beginning of respecting the person who holds it dear. MindMyBelief exists so that reading your own scripture deeply and meeting your neighbour's charitably can happen in the same place, on the same afternoon.
The traditions we hold
We treat each tradition here with equal care — not blended into one grey sameness, but honoured in its own voice, with its own authentic, public-domain and credibly-translated texts. Nine paths, side by side:
Christianity is held in both its Catholic and its Protestant and wider forms; alongside it stand Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism, and — because wisdom is not only religious — the Stoic and philosophical tradition and a secular, mindfulness-minded path for those of no faith at all. We draw on named, trustworthy sources: the World English Bible and the King James Version, a JPS-style Tanakh, the Qur'an in Arabic with respected English renderings, the Bhagavad Gita, the Dhammapada, the Guru Granth Sahib, the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius and the Tao Te Ching. Where a text lives in Arabic, Gurmukhi or Hebrew, we show it in its own script, as it was meant to be read.

What you can do here
Everything below is an invitation, not an obligation. Come for a single verse or stay for an evening of study — the app meets you where you are.
Read & search any scripture
Find a passage by reference or keyword — or simply by how you feel. Anxious, grateful, grieving, hopeful: tell the app, and it will bring you words that meet the moment.
Gentle, AI-assisted explanations
Three modes, always optional: Standard for a clear reading, Deep Study for context and nuance, and a kid-friendly mode that explains simply and kindly.
A Daily Verse
One passage each day to begin with, drawn from the tradition you follow — a small, steady practice you can return to.
Compare translations
Set renderings side by side to see how a single line breathes differently across translators and centuries.
The Interfaith Bridge
Choose one theme — love, forgiveness, hope — and hear how each tradition answers it, in its own words, side by side.
Listen with audio
Let a passage be read aloud, for the commute, the kitchen, or the quiet before sleep.
Notes, highlights & favourites
Keep private reflections, mark the lines that move you, and gather your favourites in one place — yours alone.
Community, events & local life
Share a reflection — a take — with a respectful community, discover gatherings and faith events near you, and find faith-friendly local businesses.
Our approach to explanation & respect
Every explanation here has one purpose: to illuminate the text in its own tradition's voice and help you understand it. Never to convert, never to flatten one faith into another, never to judge. We always show you the source and the translation, so you can weigh the words for yourself. Where a tradition is a philosophy rather than a religion — Stoicism, or a secular mindfulness practice — we honour that distinction rather than dressing it as something it is not. The aim throughout is charity: to read as we would wish our own scripture to be read.
Privacy & trust
Your notes, highlights and reading history are yours. We collect only what's needed to offer the service, and you can request account and data deletion at any time from our account deletion page. MindMyBelief is free to use and supported by unobtrusive ads. The full detail lives in our policies — this is only the reassurance.
