The Ashkenaz Festival is one of North America's largest celebrations of Jewish music, arts, and culture, held biennially at Harbourfront Centre and other venues across Toronto since 1995. Originally focused on Klezmer and Yiddish traditions, it has grown into a multidisciplinary showcase of global Jewish culture spanning music, dance, theatre, film, and family programming. The festival is offered largely free to the public and draws a diverse audience of tens of thousands.
